Rolex 24 at Daytona

“At the 2009 Rolex 24 at Daytona, temperature ranged during the race from 40 degrees to 75 degrees. The morning and evening were very cold and the afternoon became very warm. Our all-black fire suits are double layer and I wore 2BKOOL fire-retardant garments under my suit as well as a balaclava under my helmet. I noticed that as other crew members were putting on sweatshirts and jackets when it was cold and taking them off for the many pit stops and then again as the temperature rose, I stayed very comfortable in just my fire suit and 2BKOOL garments. From the damp cold of the night to the heat of two very sunny days, 2BKOOL was great. The garments are comfortable with no restriction to my movement. I am looking forward to wearing 2BKOOL shirts in my upcoming marathons. The races begin in the morning when it is cold, but by the time you have run several miles your body really heats up. As effectively as 2BKOOL worked for me in the Rolex 24 at Daytona, I know it will be great to run 26miles in.”
